Unfortunately all of our current testers are running PHP5. In recent releases we unwittingly shipped with a bug that prevented PHP4 users from installing templates (templates could still be manually installed).
If you are using PHP4 and have time to regularly test the nightly build, please subscribe and post to the Nightly RSGallery2 Legacy forum. PHP5 testers are also welcome, the more testers we have the more solid our releases will be.

The Downloads page now lists three popular templates that have been tested with RSGallery2 1.14.3. If you have questions or issues, please post in the Display and Templates forum.
Note that the download location for these templates have changed. Previously they were on JoomlaCode, but to ease administration we are now hosting them ourselves instead.

This is an updated production alpha containing a low threat security fix. If you use commenting you should upgrade. An option to show/hide the Search box has also been added.

Special template and extension users: not all templates and other extensions work with the latest release yet.

As promised, some serious bug fixing has gone into the 1.14.1 release. So try out the new version and be sure to hit our forums if you encounter any issues.
The template manager has been replaced with one based on the J1.5 templates. Templates now support parameters and we will be utilizing that in the next release.
We are also branching the codebase to develop a Joomla! 1.5 only release so that the Legacy plugin will not be needed.
Special recognition goes to the latest member of the RSG2 team, John Caprez, who is responsible for much of the Joomla! 1.5 specific code in this release.
