Title: [FIXED] New to RSG2(using svn 587)--How to add templates? Post by: Phil Braaten on January 23, 2008, 07:11:01 PM First off, thank you to Ronald and the RS gallery team. I've been a RSG user from the mambo days--after years of twists and turns, I'm back with Joomla and I'm exited to see RS Gallery2 getting some wonderful developing. Thank you all very much!
I am using RSGal2, version 1.14.1 (SVN 587) with Joomla 1.0.13. No issues except that I can't seem to install a new template. (I am trying with the "superclean_v.04" that's provided on the 'downloads' page) I get a "Success" message, but I don't see it in the templates list, nor when I browse the template folder with my FTP client I don't see any new folder created. Am I missing something here? Or, is there a better nightly build that fixes this? Thanks again for a stunningly simple yet powerful gallery. the xml installer file of the templates has been changed to avoid conflicts with joomla templates. joomla 1.0.13, rsgallery2 1.14.1, trying to install superclean. superclean 1.5 won't install -- always errors. i tried multiple methods to install it. eventually i just copied it into the templates folder (alongside the other templates), and it now shows up in my template list, however, after i make it the default, then go to my front end to see it, i get errors there too. Looking into the XML file, there's no ".../installer/helper.php" listed in the install files. My guess is a file is misplaced in the build, either into the wrong folder, or not included in the build.
