This would make definitely make managing picture much easier. It gets my vote!
2  Developers corner / Nightly Builds for RSGallery2 in Joomla 1.5 / Re: [SVN-763] Still it doesn't vote on: May 20, 2008, 12:54:05 am
I have the same issue, but when turning SEF off the vote does work.
Comments still dont work regardless of SEF being on or off.
3  RSgallery2 support forums / Features / GPS position and Google Maps on: March 23, 2008, 06:51:00 pm
First off I am not a developer so I don't know how easy/hard this would be, but...

My idea would be to have a link on the picture page that when clicked on would open a popup containing google maps with it zooming in on the point the picture was taken. How would it do this, by reading the GPS part of the EXIF details.

I think you would need the ability to turn this on and off not just as a global setting but also as an individual image basis, as you might not want this kind of detail for all images.

Like I said not sure how difficult this would be but it would be a really nice feature.
4  Developers corner / Nightly Builds for RSGallery2 in Joomla 1.5 / Build 634 - Error installing Template on: February 12, 2008, 04:25:51 am

Can the forum admin please move this to the J! 1.5 Legacy section, sorry I posted it here by mistake  Embarrassed

J! 1.5 Stable
RSG build 634
SEO setting fully on, including mod_rewrite
#edit# legacy mode enabled

When trying to install the superclean template 0.5 using the RSG 'Upload Package File' I get an error:
Fatal error: Class 'JInstaller' not found in W:\www\administrator\components\com_rsgallery2\options\templateManager\controller.php on line 657

J! 1.5 Stable
RSG build 634
SEO setting fully on, including mod_rewrite
#edit# legacy mode enabled

Getting a strange error, not sure if this is RSG, J! or something else?

I have created a menu link to RSG, the menu manager shows the link as : index.php?option=com_rsgallery2
When clicking on the menu idea on the front end I am taken to : http://localhost/index.php?Itemid=219&option=
and get a 404 error

With SEO turned off
Back end menu link still shows : index.php?option=com_rsgallery2
on clicking on link I am taken to url : http://localhost/index.php?option=com_rsgallery2&Itemid=219
Page displays ok.

I have only seen this error since upgrading to build 634 but have installed some other components since then. I have disabled these components but still getting the same issue.

I have created a gallery in:
http://localhost/the-family/eoin-mhairi/eoin-haluch/eoin-gallery.html
This page has section specific menus, css, modules. And it displays the list of gallerys for the user 'eoin'.

However when clicking on any of the gallerys (or slideshow) e.g.  http://localhost/component/rsgallery2/?gid=9
you are taken to the gallery with a display of thumbs, however the site looses the section it was in. And I loose all menus, css, modules.

9  RSgallery2 support forums / Features / formatting of front end forms on: February 08, 2008, 03:48:59 pm
It would be nice if the front end forms were created in the same style/tags as the J! front end forms. That way it's easier to create CSS that will format all site forms in a consistent manner.

I know it's easy to edit but when applying nightly builds it means constant editing.

10  RSgallery2 support forums / RSgallery2 bugs & problems / Re: Commenting and voting does not work on: January 24, 2008, 11:16:20 am
I'm also having issues with comments and voting not working.

I'm running J! 1.5 with SEO enabled. If I disable SEO then the voting works but still no comments.
I have reported the error in the nightly forum, but still waiting on feedback.
11  Developers corner / Nightly Builds for RSGallery2 in Joomla 1.5 / Re: [SVN 586] - Voting not working on: January 20, 2008, 05:22:34 pm
Not sure if this will help, however when I turn SEO off the Voting system works fine.
12  RSgallery2 support forums / Features / RSS Feed on: January 20, 2008, 05:15:36 pm
It would be nice to have an RSS feed added to RSG2, or even better to rsitem  Smiley
13  RSgallery2 support forums / Display and Templates / Centre image in hacked inline display on: January 20, 2008, 10:58:37 am
I have added the border and drop shadow to the image displayed in the inline view of Semantic, however now the image is aligned to the left.
I have tried to centre it through css without much luck.

Does anyone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Cheers in advance,
Eoin
14  Developers corner / Nightly Builds for RSGallery2 in Joomla 1.5 / [solved] - Re: [SVN542] - loadposition not working on: January 20, 2008, 10:51:39 am
ok, time to eat humble pie!
The problem was with the module that I was loading loadposition into.

I tried a different module and it worked fine  Embarrassed
15  RSgallery2 support forums / RSgallery2 modules and plugins (mambots) / rsitem error on: January 19, 2008, 09:26:29 pm
I think there is an error in the latest version of rsitem.

line 37 on mod_rsitems.php:
Code:
include_once($mosConfig_absolute_path.'/modules/mod_rsitems_english.php');

I think it should be:

Code:
include_once($mosConfig_absolute_path.'/modules/mod_rsitems/mod_rsitems_english.php');
