1  RSgallery2 support forums / Features / Better images administration on: February 12, 2008, 02:35:49 am
Hi,

One of the things I think that could be improved is the images and galleries administration.

Once you have uploaded  some photos it's difficult to reordenated moving images to galleries because you only see the name of the image but maybe they  haven't a significant name, and It`s to labourius to clic and enter to see each image details,  I think It would be great if you could see the image thumbnail in this window. One solution could be to put a combo to chose the way you want to see the photos list: thumbnail, details ...

5  RSgallery2 support forums / RSgallery2 bugs & problems / How to delete the blocked images? on: January 18, 2008, 05:00:36 am
Hi,
I I get an error uploading images (more than one image at the same time) with Nightly Build 575 (I installed the last Nightly Build 580 and I realised that is fixed), and aparently the thunb was created but the image wasn't properly saved.
When I click in the image from the backend I get this error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getItem() on a non-object in /web/sites/vhbu/6/114/59174/public/www/administrator/components/com_rsgallery2/options/images.html.php on line 234

And from the first time I get the error the image get blocked and I can't delete or do anything which this image
what can I do?

thanks

It isn't very importat but with the last nightly builds  in the Backend Control Panel I don't see the icons of each option, only the alt text of the image is displayed. It seems that the image isn't there, but I copy the image url and open in another tab and it shows me the correct image. Maybe the problem can be with the CSS (I use Semantic template) or I don?t know the server permissions?  Huh

thanks

I have translated the last 1.14.1 (SVN575) into basque language and I would liked it to be included in the component. You can see this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basque_language for information.

thank you

Hi,
Thank you, I have tryed with other types and most of them work(except calculator), but I think the one which is showed in the best way is  core.
What about the problem after adding the comment is it solved in the last nigtly build?

13  RSgallery2 support forums / RSgallery2 bugs & problems / Comments process and CAPTCHA image on: January 04, 2008, 07:07:41 am
Hi,

I have also found some problems with the comment system. I'm using Joomla! 1.0.13 and I have the Security Image Component installed, but when adding a comment I can't see the CAPTCHA image(only shows the reload button but no image).

And after adding a comment it shows a page with the next text:

Comment added sucessfully!
You are not authorised to view this resource
You need to login

(I have the public user comments enabled !?)

And no link to go back to the photo.  Huh

thanks
14  RSgallery2 support forums / RSgallery2 bugs & problems / [FIXED]Gallery Listing Combobox doesn't work on: January 04, 2008, 06:59:59 am
Hi,

Last night (3rd of January 08) I installed the newest nightly build an I realised of this error.

The combobox or drop down box that appears when listing the galleries, to select the galleries you want to see per page doesn't work.
I guess it must be a problem with the JavaScrit code associated to the action off making the selection.

thanks

Just like with the other releases, uninstall the old component and install the new one. The database and the pictures are kept in the same place after the unistallation, so you must see your albums in the same way. For more security you can do a backup of your data, but I have some albums and  photos and I haven't had any problem. Only after the installation from the backend you must select a template, otherwise you will see an awfulll error in a white screen,  (I have choosen Semantic, the others I think that don't work) and that's all.
I've found more bugs that probably you will be interested in their solving:
