I guess you would,
Create the component linked menu item. Check and save the URLs of the gallery and the slideshow. Unpublish the menu item. Link straight from the content to the URL.
but not entirely sure.
To link just:
Highlight this - "Click here for the gallery". Click the link button in your wysiwyg editor. Enter the address in the URL field and save.

Thanks for the reply Ronald. They put a script on it that rewrites file ownership every hour but that isn't helping.

At the moment users cant add galleries or upload images.
Can you give me any clue as to what I need them to do to stop it happening? They're a pretty decent host and I haven't had this trouble with any other components.
