I was unable to reproduce the original error and I can't reproduce this one.  This is very odd.  What PHP version is everyone using here?  Jon, can you briefly describe what actions you take to reproduce this error?

just remove the com_rsgallery2 folders in components and administrator/components

are you on a really slow connection?  are there errors in your error log?  Try the steps in http://rsgallery2.net/content/view/13/21#largeupload

Seems the check was never added.  I've done so in r657.  You can/should upgrade to the RSG2 Legacy found at http://rsgallery2.net/nightly/

FYI: Moving to Joomla! 1.5 will also solve this issue.

@jazzking2001: You should use the same component installer (currently 1.14.3) for both J1.0 and J1.5

Create a Link - URL and just paste that link in.

Oh, I think I know what the issue is.

I'm wrong about the filenames being the same.  They must be the same except that display and thumbnail images need an extra .jpg on the end.  Add that to those to image sizes and it should work.
