It would be nice to have an RSS feed added to RSG2, or even better to rsitem  Smiley

I agree, this would mean other users can display your images onto their site if they wanted to.

this has been some work done for a podcast module http://rsgallery2.net/nightly/modules_and_plugins/mod_rsg2_podcast/

there are plans to clean this up and release it in the near future.

a RSS FEED would be great for news images added to the gallery... its essential and adds power to RSGALLERY2.. hopefully this gets implemented.. i wish i new what to do.. because its not that many lines of code..

yeah it is done in a template. At least in legacy it is.  Specifically in the xml_templates directory. Like I added a class to create a google site map on demad whenever google webmaster tools wants it, could just as easily convert that to create RSS feeds I would think.

I just reread this thread and think I missed the initial request.

Basically want a module/template combo that can create and display thumbnails of rss feeds from other rsgalleries?  That would rock! Darned good idea, and I moved it to the top of my todo list.

Doesn't seem too complex, at least in theory lol

I put a rss up on the svn in the legacy folder.  If want to check it out.  Doesn't do it for specific gallery (yet), but has been working for me for whole site.
