G'day everyone!

This might be a stupid question but is there anyway I can get a new line showing the name of the user that uploaded the picture somewhere, I've set t up with a few pre-made galleries but as it is now it doesn't show which one of my users that uploaded it!

Thanks in advance!

Where would you like to see the username?

Due to time constraints, I have taken a step back from RSGallery2.  In the event of an emergency, you will need to PM me.

Hi
Perhaps we can use the same field in the backend for the name of the author of the picture. I load my pictures like admin, but some times, people will that I mentionne his name. Also when I can change like admin the user name with some other name it's OK.

A+

Hi,

I was going to post this question too, I think my site members would appreciate it. I was also wondering, if it is possible to do this, would it also be possible to provide a link from the username to all of their images?

Thanks

Oh yeah, that would be nice little bonus! if it's possible without using user-galleries that is, I've made a pretty good structure now and my users seems to like it that way!

Hi,

I think showing an image owners name is an important function of a gallery so I paid someone to do it for me. It took the person less than a day to complete the task and everything works fine. See it here: http://sketchfile.com/index.php?option=com_rsgallery2&Itemid=37&gid=8 . I'm now considering having someone link usernames to a page with all of that user's images. If someone is browsing through the galleries and comes across an image they like, they may want to see more by that person. Again, I am told this will only take a day to complete.

Is RSGallery2 considering having these features as part of the component?

Thank You

So did anyone find a solution for this other than paying someone to do it?

Anyone??

Or is this just another front for so-called support.
It seems to me there are a lot of questions asked in this forum without replies, its a shame as this is a great addon.

This forum is totally pathetic in terms of support.

I just found this thread after posting the same question elsewhere.

I dont hold out any hope of getting an answer now Sad
