WWW

Hello Guys,

Sorry for being away for so long. The last few months have been busy as hell & havent been able to put in any quality development time yet.
But this is something i managed to put together over the week end when i got some free time! I hope you enjoy it. If you think its nice, can you please also add it on the official downloads page?

Download Link http://www.tekdi.net/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=63&func=fileinfo&id=14 ( requires Registration)

Details are as below :

Shows a 3D carousel of images in a Gallery. You can configure which galleries to output images from. You can also configure various carousel parameters like size - ( radius X and radius Y ),position etc.  Default settings are configured for a position above the body where the module will get approx 450px of width. You can modify settings for the module to look nice anywhere else.

This is based on the Rs Gallery Scroller module by Daniel Tulp & the mootools 3D carousel script by Andrew Sellick.

Also please note that

Requires RS Gallery2 with parth's slideshow installed. This is because to avoid duplication of mootools.js files we are using a file available in the slideshow.
Has been tested with latest version of gallery only. I will add a switch in backend today which will allow you it to work even if you have a older version. I Am not going to be able to test on older versions so please report if any have issues though they shouldnt!

Also if you have any queries please mail me at parth.lawate@tekdi.net as i might not get time to visit the forums often. Thanks. I hope you enjoy the module.

WWW

Have added support for older versions of Rs Gallery without Parth's Slideshow installed.

Have added a additional js with the module which will activate if the right option in backend is selected.

Regards

Hello, newby here. Using RS Gallery 1.14.3.

This 3D carousel module looks beautiful, so I downloaded it. Two questions:
1) when trying to install I got the message that there is already another module is using the random-image map. What to do with that one?
2) in templates I should switch on the parth slideshow?

Thanks,

WWW

Firstly,

Silly question i know, but are u uploading the right module file ?

I dont even have an idea what the random image map is ! So its unlikely that message will pop up... Also the naming of the module is pretty specific so its not likely to overlap.

Can you please recheck & again post with screenshots of each phase if you still get issues ?

Also you dont need to turn on the parth's gallery . That option is for using it as a photo gallery. If your version of RS gallery is old. Then u need to make a switch in the module configuration

But anyways u need to get it installed first.
