Hi,

my thumbnails are not displayed after batch upload from a zipfile, I have 755 permissions, is this the reason?

Good work by the way.

Sorry,

I meant that the thumbnails aren\'t displayed when I go to step two of the Batch Upload.

Furthermore, can I set the max height of the thumbnails somewhere?

Thumbnail width is set in the settings.  The image is scaled down at a 1:1 ratio, so no the height cannot be directly set.

From what your saying, the thumbnails just don\'t show at step 2, but do show later on when viewing from the frontend of your site.  Is this correct?

Yes this is correct
Maybe it has something to do with a bad url to the upload dir (I\'m using ImageMagick for creating thumbnails).

Furthermore, the slideshow isn\'t working, I get this error:
ERROR! RsGallery Slideshow: Cannot locate the HTML tag for this page! exiting...

By the way, thanks for setting the development of RSgallery up again.

I installed it on a Windows server everything was fine. When I installed it on one of my hosted sites (Linux server) I had a similar problem with no thumbs displaying.

It appeared that it had not created the 2 required sub directories under my subdir specified in the Gallery Subdir (default is \\images\\gallery\\\") setting. Under that directory there must be

  uploads
  thumbs

I set permission for read, write, and execute for all (777) on those.

Good luck

The thumbnails can take a while to generate, especially for many pictures from a zip file.  So they are probably generating and just not available yet.

The directory structure will be different for 2.0 and image/thumbnail handling is being rewritten.  This will probably solve your other problems.

Ok, well, it\'s not the biggest problem. We\'ll wait for the stable version. Will there be an update available or do we need to upload all the pictures again?

And what about the problem with the slideshow, will this be available in stable version?

O I changed the string that calls the pclzip on line 334 of admin.rsgallery.php file into [code:1]include($mosConfig_absolute_path.\'/administrator/includes/pcl/pclzip.lib.php\');[/code:1] because I had an error when I tried to upload a zip-file for the first time. The path was not correct for version 4.5.2.

there will be upgrade scripts to handle migration from previous versions.

thanks for the new path.

slideshow should be working in the next beta, which will _hopefully_ be released this week.
