OK - installed RSGallery2 following your post on thew Joomla! forum Smiley went smoothley ...

BUT with no documenmtation, and being a total newbie who needs a manual, the following questions occur:

How do I put the upload bit for registered users of the website to send there photos in?

How do you put the last photos/most popular photos onto a page (the front page for example)?

How do you put the voting for photos bit on? If there is one.

Oh yes - and how do you create a category - press on the +Category button and nothing happens.

Login to the backend, goto RSGallery2 Control Panel and check out the Configuration Area. There is a tab called \"user uploads\". Make sure that user uploads are enabled. After this, at the frontpage you will see a link called My Galleries. Here all users can create galleries and upload their images.

In short, you don\'t. This feature is not available yet. The only thing that is available is the Latest Titles, that is showed on the frontpage. It shows the last three added images. You can switch this on or off in the Control Panel as well.

This is enabled by default. Just upload images and you will see a number of tabs appear below every image in display mode. Again, use the Control Panel to switch the tabs on or off.

I don\'t know what button you mean but again, check out the Control Panel. Use the Manage Categories button to create categories.

Hope this is enough to get you started!

Good luck,

I\'m working on a module as we speek. It is nearly done, but it has a weird bug in it. It is in the forge, and it is half functional. It works to display a random image, most hits, most voted and best rated image beside eachother (diplay option 0 in the backend of the module). It is called rsitems.

You can install the module, and set it to display on the frontpage. Select in the backend the module and define a position like user1. Then add <?php mosLoadModules ( \"user1\" ); ?> in your index.php file of your template at the position you want the module to be displayed.

Hope I can get it fully functional in a few days.

Hy,

I fixed the bug. The module is in it\'s alpha phase version 1.0. I will add more options (disable certain types and so on), but it should be quit easy to hack it yourself (of course this will make upgrading a bit harder).

It\'s available for downloading in the forge.

Well I downloaded the module mod_rsitems from forge. Then installed it and put it in the bottom... It shows the pictures perfect but when I or a user press it says

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in ...../rsgallery2.html.php on line 556

Any ideas Huh (I have failed to see the problem in the code but might just be me that is blind)
