Hello,

First of all, I\'ve been looking a little bit at rsgallery2 and I think it looks like the best Joomla gallery component by far. I was having a lot of problems with zoom, so it\'s great to see that there is another option.

I need to make a simple mugshot gallery on my site and I was wondering if rsgallery2 would work for that? I just want users to be able to upload only one picture in one category. There needn\'t be any other features, just something simple like here:http://www.designiskinky.com/mugshot/mugshots.php3

Do you think it would work for that?

Thanks!!

Nomi, I think is is certainly possible if you restrain upload to 1 picture and one category in the config panel of RSgallery2.

You will also have to make some custom hacks if want exactly what is on that site you suggested as an example. But I don\'t think it will be to hard.

Daniel,

Thanks for the help, much appreciated!

I am seeing now that the category that I made for the users to upload from the front is not showing there. I read on another thread that that feature is not working yet, so I won\'t bug you about it, but I was wondering if it will be possible to do that? I mean, to just restrict them to upload into only one category?

Thanks again!

No sorry, this feature will be possible when the new access rules have been coded. I don\'t know how long this will take.
