I'm the webmaster for a sportbike website that I run with a couple friends. Originally the site was built with dreamweaver templates and wasn't meant to grow into what it has. After getting over 10million hits last month, I decided it was time to switch to a real CMS and picked up the joomla system pretty easily.

The current site..... www.speedfreakinc.com is the dw template site

The new site..... www.speedfreakinc.com/v1/index.php is the joomla site (with RSgallery2 installed)

Link to the gallery..... http://speedfreakinc.com/v1/index.php?option=com_rsgallery2&Itemid=112

I'm BEYOND proud of how its coming, and will be launched in a few days. I'd love some feedback from some joomla vets with any ideas/advice. I'll be breaking the sections down by catagory next, so each section will have a sub menu in the top right column. The galleries are working great, by far the best gallery component I could find, after testing 4 or 5 of them Smiley

WWW

looks ok, nice job

I suggest you download the latest english.php file and upload it to /yoursiteroot/administrator/components/com_rsgallery/language so _rsgallery_new isn't displayed on the frontend, but just NEW!

Maybe you could make the featured links on the right a bit smaller, they are almost as wide as the mainpage itself

good luck
