did you develop a of sef_ext.php file for RSGallery2? would you mind sharing it?
why didn't you make the urls like this:
http://www.yourdomain.com/gallery/cars/peugeot406.html, where the gallery name is cars and the picture name is peugeot406.jpg, that would be even better, this of course is allready an improvement
for which sef component did you create it?

I used the component: Artio Joomsef, just out of the box style btw. Only on the new improved website, i will try to look for "what you discribed"
