Hi guys
I've got RSGallery2 1.12.2 Alpha and mod_rsg2scroller installed. Please view this page in Firefox and then IE7

HTTP://www.jerseymencap.org and not the diffrence in the layout. Module is set to display 10 images in 1 column. Can you advise how I can fix this in IE7 please.

Many Thanks

Kili

Hi Daniel. Thanks for the quick reply. I added .rsg2_scroller{width: 165px;} to the backend style sheet box and no change. Any further suggestions?

Cheers

I think I may have a similar problem. Display is different in IE compared to firefox. Any idea what the problem is? My site is www.mikropartner.com/usb

I changed the width unit from % to px and that problem was solved. I don't know whether it would work on other websites.

Hello.
I have the same kind of problem exposed here with Firefox and IE6/7 display problems.

Let me explain what I found while trying out the config page.

When I use "px" for the width of the scroll width, it displays fine on IE6 and IE7 but when I first load a page with Firefox 2, the scroller doesn't display correctly (it looks like Firefox has some trouble displaying it correctly). However, when I hit Refresh, it is displayed correctly on Firefox.
It was suggested by Daniel Tulp that it might be cache problems, but it happened with 3 friends, so I thought it shouldn't be cache.

Then I tried to change the scroll width to 100%, and it started to work nice with Firefox (i.e. displaying correctly when I first loaded the page), and not showing with IE6. I tried to use the IE Developer Toolbar to try to find what was wrong, and the only thing I think might be messing the code up is a <table> tag that I don't know where is coming from (I looked at the code of the gallery scroller and I can't find any <table> tags there)

Could anyone take a look at this? The site is www.ndjoias.com
Now I have the width set for 100%, and all is fine for Firefox, and with IE the scroller isn't displaying at all (if you use the developer tool you'll find the marquee is pushed for the right side of the page)

I have asked for help on the Project page (http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/dt2_rsg2_ext/forum/?action=ForumBrowse&forum_id=1051&_forum_action=ForumMessageBrowse&thread_id=5877), but I decided to ask for it here too. I have posted there screenshots of the Firefox error I get when I use "px" for the scroller width.

Thank you, and sorry for the long text (I tried to be as descriptive as possible)
