Just worked out what ACL means...

...would you consider including a ViewThumbsOnly
permissions level? This is ostensibly to open things
up to SE bots but tether them to thumbnails.

G2 has this feature, as you said really helps with SE, specially considering that they get to consume both images and the accompanying description text...

My guess would be this wont be very easy to add... would LOVE to see it though.
