Bug
You cannot edit the title/description of an image after it has been uploaded. Going into admin and selecting the image displays an edit screen with no content (which you cannot save).

Change Requests
[ol]
[li]The upload button appears in the front-end for all administrators. For now I want uploads only to be done via the back-office for all users - having the upload button is ugly as it is aliased for a white background and the front-office is black (basically the front-office looks uglier than the back-office, and no that isn\'t as a result of my meagre web design skills)[/li]
[li]The images have filename and hits in the details - I want title and description. I had to edit the PHP file, zip and reinstall the component to remove them. This should be a set of yes/no options.[/li]
[li]When I do add a description it appears alongside the thumbnail - nice but it breaks the columns I\'ve setup. Yes, a bit more fiddling and I\'ll get it just right, but this was a gotcha - not obvious when I first setup the gallery - for other new users this should be easier to setup and/or correct. How about an option to inhibit the descriptive text?[/li]
[li]We also need a more flexible \'advanced\' layout for thumbnails (possibly an edit area like the CSS)[/li]
[li]The pathway for the album should be integrated into the overall pathway (if possible). More importantly, I should be able to say whether the second pathway is visible, and the text for each level![/li]
[/ol]

Some background if it helps visualise my requirements:

I had a need for a gallery component and this fits the bill. The key requirements are that it is quick to setup, secure, simple to administer and add to, and has the capability to grow with the website.

I\'ve created my first Mambo website (an amateur sports team) and it will be completely administered by the coach, and used by children. I\'m hoping to extend it to having articles produced by the children/parents as well, introducing a proper author/publishing relationship (but that\'s the future). Basically it\'s going to be mangled and hit like blazes by all the kids, and administered by someone who glazes over at the mention of anything technical - but they love the Mambo back-office and have a newspaper background so understand many of the concepts right-off.
