I'm using version 2 1.12.2 Alpha - SVN: 587 right now because it feels and seems to be the most stable right now.  I want to know if there are plans on making available to use one image for multiple galleries?

I have a client that paints for a living and she wants to use one image for a couple galleries... for example, a picture of horses would be in the horses gallery.  Now that same picture is also classified as a watercolor, so it would also be in the watercolor gallery.  To make things more interesting, that same picture when copied from a printer would also be classified as a print, therefore it would be in the print gallery too.

Her website is www.patriciabrandt.com if you would like to see her artwork.

Thank you,

Hi Tim.

Yes, eventually you should be able to link images to multiple galleries.  It will be similar to unix file systems: many links (files) to a data node (the actual file) are allowed, the file is only deleted when the last link is deleted.

No timeline for that feature however.

Due to time constraints, I have taken a step back from RSGallery2.  In the event of an emergency, you will need to PM me.
