First of all, I like what I have seen of RSGallery2. I am using \'another\' gallery on my sight at the moment but the development seems to have died and it\'s very difficult to get answerers to problems.
From what i have seen of RSGallery2 the development is very active and bugs are addressed quickly, this is evident by the turnaround of updated versions.

Before I change the gallery over to RSGallery it would be useful to have a guide to the features in your component. I have checked through this site and forum but couldn\'t find the information. If it is here could someone point me in the right direction. If not can someone let me know the following:

Can uploads be made from the front end controlled by user group?
Are the images automatically compressed and resized to a predefined configuration on upload.
What upload types are available i.e. zip, multiple, individual?
If compressed, is the original retained on the server?
Is there a search function?

Unfortunately I am unable to help with the code and development of this component but once i have added this to my site i will be happy for you to use it as
in your demo list.

Due to time constraints, I have taken a step back from RSGallery2.  In the event of an emergency, you will need to PM me.
