I've looked high and low for a solution to my issue. I originally had batch upload working properly on a test server. I lost some track of which components I installed but haven't modified RS Gallery2. Now, for some reason, I am unable to perform a batch upload. When I click the next button in FF and IE, nothing happens. In IE, it then shows a Java Script Error as listed below.

Code:
Line: 266
Char: 22
Error: 'document.forms.0.batchmethod.length' is nulll or not an object.
Code: 0
URL: . . . index2.php?option=com_rsgallery2&task=batchupload

I was initially using RSGallery2 1.12.2. Then, once this error developed, I referred to several other posts within the forum and figured it might solve my problem if I was to upgrade to the latest version RSGallery2 1.13.1 Alpha - SVN: 41. This had no effect.

This will be my first production RSGallery after playing with it several times in test environments. Now that I have half of the gallery started with several hundred images, I cannot proceed any further.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I couldn't figure out why this wouldn't work, particularly when I had not modified any files on certain sites I was trying to get this to work on. I was installing, hacking, installing and hacking. Throughout the entire process of redundancy, there was one thought that kept popping up in my head - it has to do with the template.

Well, I was right, but because each time I thought about the template as having to be the culprit, I kept referring to the front end template, and I could not figure how that would effect the back end template, knowing of course it couldn't in this case. Well, I had forgotten that over the last few weeks, I found a cool admin template that I had installed on several of the sites I'm working on, swapping out my personal template for a better-looking one.

Once I realized this, I switched my back to my template, which is a modified Joomla default template, and the next button worked again. The template that caused the issues was the Essential Plazza Black, which looks good and works for every other component but RSGallery2.

Hope this helps others.

I am taking a stab at this, if this is the part where it displays all the images then you need to scroll down below of the images and click 'upload' I think not 'next' at the top of the page.

Good Luck

I have been using RSGallery2 for over a year now and this one STILL GETS ME EVERY TIME.  Please remove the Next button from this screen, or make it work correctly, or put in BIG LETTERS at the top that the Upload button at the button is what must be pushed.  Very misleading and confusing!

Other than that, thanks for a great product!

WWW

I am confused on this thread, lol. I am trying to do a batch upload & get as far as step one where I Specify upload method & choose zip & the file. Where is step 2? I assume it is not the next button, correct?
Thanks in advance, Guy.

I'm getting the same error.  This is at the initial batch upload page.  Is there a specific line of code that should be changed.  I'm using the khepri green administrator template.
