When trying to install RSGallery2 1.10.11 Alpha I get the following error: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare rsgConfig::$displayBranding in D:\\......\\com_rsgallery2\\includes\\config.class.php on line 80

I got this when installing on my testserver which has the following software installed:
- apache 2.055
- PHP 5.1.2
- MySQL 5.0.20
- Joomla 1.0.8

After installing the component appears to be loaded. But when I try to start it (as administrator) I get the same error.

I got the same error, but the fix is simple:

[ul]
[li]Uninstall the component;[/li]
[li]Extract config.class.php from the component ZIP file; [/li]
[li]Delete or comment out line 80 ($displayBranding is being declared twice);[/li]
[li]Add the file back to ZIP, keeping the directory info (includes/config.class.php)[/li]
[li]Re-install the component with the edited config.class.php[/li]
[/ul]

Thanks for your speedy answer. Indeed a simple fix (my only excuse is that I do not know how to program in php B) ).

By the way: using the option to install from a directory saves the trouble of zipping the files again.

I am now testing the gallery om my testsite and have to try to sesolve some issues using the templates. But it looks great  Wink

my testing did not detect this error, it must be related to stricter settings and/or php 5.*

thanks for the bug report, it has been fixed.
