as usual I used uninstall/install function. I just installed the released 1.14 package (SVN 374) and getting absolutly the same error.
I cannot see why... The installation for joomla was fresh (no adopted, no upgraded RC2>RC3) version.

it looks really weird to be honest, but for me it seems to be a format problem related to CSS (template css and galrrery template css)...
Did you have the same results with another rsgallery template?

I just found out, that this issue is related to the default template. It works fine with Semantic as well for supercleanHS.

this is really surprising me, as I never had this issue with the same version. But actually with the Nightly build SVN 196, I got something like or similar to this issue.
I can by for not explain what the problem could be. But it looks like a db to object-link thing.

BTW: I used G2 before. In general a real good gallery, but it includes to much for me and the G2 bridge for Joomla didn't match my needs. I still think RSG2 is the better one from a design point of view.

The back to <main gallery> link is basic, but I think it would be good to also have a back to <parent gallery> link.
Maybe with a setting in the backend to enable/disable it.
so when you have a structure as:
MAIN
   Topic
      Subtopic1
      Subtopic2
      ...
   Topic2
      Subtopic1
      Subtopic2
     ....
....
It is not easy to navigate through it right now. The only way is to go back to main and start from new,
when changing to another gallery.

it's really interesting, some work some not. You can have a look at it here: http://www.stefan-haller.ch/j1012/index.php?option=com_rsgallery2&Itemid=121.
Some of the older galleries work fine. I created a new gallery, just for a test. I moved some files to that one. But the gallery will not come up and the standard page is beeing displayed instead. When you click on Gallery Schweiz the same happens. When you click on Moskau which is a subgallery of Russland pictures are beeing displayed fine.  But when you try to access subgalleries of Tenereo 2006 which is part of Schweiz, nothing happens.

I commented out line 791 of file: administrator/components/com_rsgallery2/includes/img.utils.php which fixed the problem.

there is also a problem with big picture view in SVN 101. the picture properties shows a path like this:


downloading the picture works well.
