Its not only Mxcomment that conflicts. I have the same problem (code showing up instead of image) and I have no MXcomment installed yet. I am using RT Populus theme and am trying to place the gallery inside a "slider" component. Its not working.

as per the subject, are there any templates (besides the bundled ones) that work in Joomla 1.5? The bundled template, Semantic 2.0 seems to work, but its very unpleasant to look at, and navigate.

I have to add instructions on the page for the users to be able to do anything with it. This is not good for a production website.

Alternatively, if there is nothing better than Semantic 2.0, can anyone guide me in how to modify this template and I'll try to customise it so its easier on the eye, and the brain.

However, as far as I know, none of the templates work with Joomla 1.5. I tried about half of them and none worked.
