Turn off Captchas in the configuration.  Sometimes they don't work very well.  We probably need to implement another captcha solution.

Due to time constraints, I have taken a step back from RSGallery2.  In the event of an emergency, you will need to PM me.

How do you turn off Captchas, I don't see it in the configuration. With the latest version, you cannot vote or comment at all. Any solution to this?

You cannot turn it off, at least I didnt see any option to do so.

For the moment I solved this problem by installing version 1.13.2. There it works perfectly and there isnt all tha difference betwen them, at least as far as I saw.

And how do you convince it to use it?

Having the same problem in 2.0.0... Sometimes it is not possible to add comments!

Is there any way to turn CAPTCHA off? Edit some file? Please help me out.

Thanks for your help

In RSG 1.14.3, I fixed this by disabling CAPTCHAs.

To disable CAPTCHAs, go to:
Control Panel -> Images -> Comments

and set the following field
Use SecurityImages component SecurityImages component NOT installed! -> NO

Two cricisms for the config tool here:
1) if the component necessary for CAPTCHAs is not detected, the value should be automatically set to NO (and probably should default to NO as well)

2) The field that effectively diables CAPTCHAs does not mention the phrase "CAPTCHA" even though this is used in the error message.  Clearly a confusion to end users.
