Latest english version?

I want to use the upcoming RSGallery2 with Joomla 1.5.3 native mode. Currently i'm doing my own tests using latest nightly build but i'0ve found that there is a lot of missing strings using spanish language; i want to collaborate and translate into spanish but, where can i find latest english version to begin translating?

Are strings files stable enought to begin my work, or must i wait to RSGallery final to be released to begin with translation?
