hello -

I have all my images 72 dpi/under 150K & thumbnail size set at 100

some display full size but show only tiny thumbnails when you click on them (much smaller than 100) & others display at designated thumbnail size & show at various enlargement sizes when you click on them...

can someone help me figure out how to get them operating uniformly?? you'll see what I mean if you go to my website & click on "Judaica" gallery

http://www.rosiebiskar.com

I'd appreciate some help!!

:)dv

I have exactly the same problem, posted a question in an other section of this forum but have yet to get a reply. It is a very weird bug.

ok - good to hear from you & not feel so alone & newbie-ish!

so you think it's a bug & not something we are doing wrong?

please let me know if you get any response & I will do likewise

I noticed that in the nigthly build r804 has the changelog "resize portrait and landscape images correctly". I do not have current acess to my site, could you try using it on yours and see if it fix the problem?

Here are a link to download, and here is changelog.

tried the suggested nightly build (uninstalled old & installed new) & no difference -

did however get this message which now reappears whenever I try to change any display parameters...

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '0jpg,jpeg,gif,png1101rsgvoting_0slideshow_parth01111110010101133left91tableFileN' at line 1 SQL=INSERT INTO rsgallery2_config ( `name`, `value` ) VALUES 0jpg,jpeg,gif,png1101rsgvoting_0slideshow_parth01111110010101133left91tableFileName|FileDateTime|resolutionorderingASC5gd20400/images/rsgallery/display/images/rsgallery/original/images/rsgallery/thumb/images/rsgallery/watermarked100111010semantic0100005501.16.01100arial.ttf20watermark.png5(c) 2007 - RSGallery250te

don't know what it means or where to find it or how to fix it - so guess I will have to start over with original version of file

wonder if there's any better or easier gallery anywhere... I've looked around & I find complaints about them all!!!!

very frustrating

thanks for trying to help Jonas... any luck yourself?

Well, nightly builds are quite experimental... so it's not a surprise you ended up with anymore errors. Anyway, seems like we have to wait for a new stable version.

The bug in the config panel has been solved in the nightly build.

Great, but do you have any idea if the problem we're experienceing is a bug or is it just or just some configuration error from our side?
