Hello,

A girlfriend of mine called me yesterday and asked me about putting up a "Family" website for her.  She would like to be able to have all her family members & extended family able to post photos and have their own albums et cetera.  Now honestly I am fairly new to joomla I used to use nukebackend and for those I used gallery2 which was a very nice gallery and I could easily add user permissions for it.   However, this is the first time I've looked for any gallery programs for Joomla and to be quite honest I have not been impressed but what I've found so far.  I saw on joomla.org that this gallery had a high amount of votes and reviews so decided I would check it out.

What I need to know is if I put this into a J1.5.5 with latest community builder will she be able to make individual members of her family able to upload their own galleries/videos without having to have access to joomlas administration back end?

Probably not mate, this app is very buggy, and the user management is completely unusable in its current form, there is no such thing as editing a gallery :S but for displaying images, it manages to work ok Smiley
