There seems to be a few people with this problem but I have not found a solution.

The gallery displays fine under Firefox. However, under IE6 the area occupied by the gallery seems to be too wide for the space available in the main body of the template. The result is that the left hand area of the template gets displaced so that it is under the space occupied by the gallery.

Gallery is here..

I have tried tweeking a number of parameters in the css file but I don't really know what I'm doing. It does work if I reduce the size of the left hand area in the template by 10px but this is not a satisfactory solution as it clips the menu title image

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks
Rod

Hi Rod,

I don’t know exactly what is going on, but somehow the margins and paddings go astray in IE 6. I think this has to with the whole parent and child issues. --edit: I should be you Wink -- You should check out the ul and li statements. I allready outcommented /*#mcontent .padding, #mcontent2 .padding { padding: 5px 10px;  }*/ in the sites css file, don’t think this really effects your website, but it does bring the menu to it’s intended place (although now some letters disappear behind it).

Hope this helps you a bit further (I’ll also post this on the forum).

I think I have similar syptoms, in the "My Gallaries" there are 3 sections generated My galleries, My Images and within that Add Images. For the latter 2 sections there is a table defined, but for the first section it is only a Div. This may be correct but in IE6 its causing the whole arae to move to the left overwriting my left column pushing its content down.

Can yu help me warp a table into this first section?

I found that if the resolution is 800x600 px or below, the menu will displaced.
If the resolution is above 800x600 then it is okay.

The width of the gallery seems fixed

today Ronald committed a templating system, we thought of, to the SVN (from 596 onward), this will mean a totally different way of presenting the layout of the gallery

the layouts haven't been finished totally yet, so use on a production site is not recommended, but you could check it out and see how it works for you (check out the nightly builds for this), also the edit_source function isn't in place

this system will provide you with the power to alter the layout very easily, so perhaps, bugs like these can be solved
