Hello

Their is a problem, when their are more than 5 subgalleries and you want to go to the second page ( clicking next or page nbr.) he gives me the master gallery again? Still with the latest version and this on more than one website I maintain. What can be the problem?

I got it already in the previous nightly builds. In the master galleries it works, but when you have than 5 subgalleries in a master gallery the problem still exists, if you select show 10 galleries he jump back to the master gallery, als if you click next or page 2 or 3 or ...

Regards,
Hans

WWW

Hello Daniel

Its version Joomla! 1.0.12 Stable [ Sunfire ] 25 December 2006 01:00 UTC

And it's on different sites that i own all with the above Joomla version.

You can see it on www.gbswemmel.be -> http://www.gbswemmel.be/index.php?option=com_rsgallery2&Itemid=79&catid=24

normaly it goes to the 6the class, but you are dutch so you will understand. You jump back to the main gallery, you choose in the last master gallery 'lagere school' and you will be back in the subgalleries, try to go to page 2, or klik next, you will jump again in the master gallery.

Thx for checking.
Regards

WWW

Hello Daniel

It exists.
I have the same problem on 2 other websites, exactly the same problem.
One site has +/- 480 categories and works perfect except if you use more than 5 subcategories.

I tested on the bigger site.

I have more than 5 main galleries and this next is working. If you have in subcategories more than 5 and you click next he shows me the 2 page of the main galleries.

You can check at www.kleuterdigitaal.be/kledi   -> login & paswood = rsgal
Choose in menu Thema's -> submenu kleuren, knutselen, ....  -> thema's -> moederdag & vaderdag (has more than 5 sub galleries) if you click here next then he gives the second main gallery page, also if you choose to display 10 galleries, only working in main gallery.

Regards & thx

Not yet.  Odd that you ask though, I was just fixing it right now.  Check back in a few hours.

I can't reproduce this bug, can you test with rev 586 or above?

Dear Jonah

From SVN567 on it's working, because you can set how many galleries to view, so you don't have 2 pages of galleries, he can now show more than 5 in one screen.

Thx and regards

Hi,

in [svn586] still not working. The problem is hidden in rsgallery2.html.php in function RSGalleryList
(I gues RSGalleryList_legacy is not used anymore, if yes so the same is in this function)
there are two parts of code which need to be changed
Code:
<?php

echo $pageNav->writeLimitBox("index.php?option=com_rsgallery2&amp;Itemid=$Itemid");
?>

and
Code:
<?php

echo $pageNav->writePagesLinks("index.php?option=com_rsgallery2&amp;Itemid=$Itemid");echo "<br>".$pageNav->writePagesCounter();
?>

for example like this :
Code:
<?php

echo $pageNav->writeLimitBox("index.php?option=com_rsgallery2&amp;Itemid=$Itemid&catid=".$gallery->get('id'));
?>

and
Code:
<?php

echo $pageNav->writePagesLinks("index.php?option=com_rsgallery2&amp;Itemid=$Itemid&catid=".$gallery->get('id'));echo "<br>".$pageNav->writePagesCounter();
?>

See that to the links is added catid, if it is not there in the new page is considered as 0, means we are back to top of gallery...

regards
