IE 7 browser, Windows XP Home, 4.4 PHP, Joomla! 1.0.11 Stable [ Sunbow ]

Batchupload - I have a 47 kb zip file that contains 6 images.  I am trying to upload the zip file to one gallery.
  • I browse to the correct file, select the gallery, and click next.
  • I am taken to this page: RSGallery Upload ZIP-file: com_rsgallery2 / batchupload
  • I can see all the images, I add titles to all images and leave descriptions blank
  • When I click next nothing happens
  • When I click upload at the bottom I am taken to the RS Gallery Control Panel with the message: Image uploaded succesfully! at the top of the page
But, there are no images in this gallery.  They did not upload.

Upload - Same 6 images to one gallery.
  • At the image upload screen I choose the gallery, title and browse for all 6 images.  Click Upload.
  • Then I am taken to the Image Manager and the message: Image uploaded succesfully! is displayed at the top.
But, there are no images in this gallery.  They did not upload.

Major Kudos to Ronald for :
 + Added filecount in frontend including subdirectories
 + Added showing thumbs from subgalleries also in random setting.
This greatly improved the display of my galleries!

THis is a confirmed bug. I'll get onto it. I will let you know when this is fixed.

I've Got the same problem!
im not able to upload a zip file!
one by one upload is going well!

But a batch/ even from a specif ftp map doesn't work!

It works!
instead of making a .zip file i had an .rar file!
it works fine now!!!

Nope, nada, zilch, nothing.  Didn't work.  Did you do anything specific you may have left out?

I'm having this problem as well and the only thing (that's on the forums) I haven't tried (and won't probably) is deleting RSGallery2 completely (images folders and everything).

What I did a what works fine until now is the following

1) made a backup of my db
2) uninstalled RSGallery2 from the joomla back-end.
3) Reinstalled version 1.11.9 (this will do a clean install, so you'll lose the db that'w why you have to back it up)
4) Deleted the tables manually from the db and used my backup to put them back (all of them acl, comments, galleries, config and files).

Now you have a few extra fields in your tables that the old release doesn't use but that's no problem. And you still have all of information that was in there when you backed it up.
At least now I can upload in batch again.
