Hi

I'm having a problem with the images on the single image pages. The thumbnails are shown, but when you open an image, rs2gallery only shows the javascript link to open the image, not the image itself.
This used to work when I initially installed build 1.12.1
But since I had the batch upload problem I upgraded with the nigthly build com_rsgallery2.2007-01-21.svn546, after that the poblem occurd (the batch upload problem was solved with that).

I tried the nightly com_rsgallery2.2007-02-06.svn577 today but that didn't change anything.
I' using joomla 1.0.11

Does anyone have the same problem or an idea what to do?
thanks

the site is online, it's www.redstar.lu
the picture galleries can be found under the menu-point "fotogallerien"

you don't see the picture, just the link. when click on it the picture opens in a new window.

here's a screenshot:

WWW

can you check your configuration of joomla, does the live site variable have a trailings slash (a slash at the end)?
if so, please remove it, and try again

Yes, it does have a trailings slash:
Live Site: http://www.redstar.lu/

but how do I remove it then? the entry in the global configuration menu is static, I can't change it.

and I tried to load an image-page with only one slash at the end of the domain name (http://www.redstar.lu/index.php?option=com_rsgallery2&page=inline&id=138&catid=15&limitstart=24), the image still isn't shown

The only way to do this is manually edit the value in configuration.php in the root of your installation.

I changed it to:
$mosConfig_live_site = 'http://www.redstar.lu';

but the problem stays the same

First try to switch off watermarking in the backend and see if it works without watermark.

that did it!
thanks a lot for your help!!

I don't necessarily need the watermark, but if I wanted to use it in the future, is there a way to use it anyway?

Gents, I had the exact same problem after upgrading to RSGallery2 1.13.1 Alpha.

Now, how do I get the watermarking working, incidentally it didn't work in the first place but my I need it.

WWW

the current watermarking system isn't working correctly any more, and we discovered, that website with high traffic suffer from mix ups in the temporary files created by the system

I recommend you either add the watermarks with a local program or revert to 1.12.x where the system did work (as far as I know), however the problem with the high traffic would still remain then

Ok, will do but I bet as soon as I do I'll remember why I upgraded in the first place;¬)
