Well,

You have noticed the borders, but in FF it works OK. Again IE6 & 7 are giving troubles.
I'll have to look into that.

Don't you have the issue in picture attached? i upgrade the file in SVN-581 too.

This is using IE7, in Firefox look very good.

Also in Image Thumbnails, the picture appear align left and the name above align center. Is it possible to set up the same align to both?

Thanks,

I have updated my production site and it is working fine, in my local XAMPP server had this issue, so ignore it please.

That's present when you set up: Show image name below thumbnail:

Hi all.

I'm new to all this so I hope it all sounds right.

I wanted to have the shadows/border on my images and found this saying that there was a problem with it.  I found the images within the component and redid them in photoshop (I have had similar problems with transperant images) and then went through the code and added them back in to the web site.  This seems to have worked for me.  I have attached the two images for others to use.  They go in webserver\components\com_rsgallery2\images

To fix these png and gif images for IE I have found that you need to make the image an index image (Image - Mode - Indexed Color) in photoshop and then save for the web (File - Save for Web), then save as a png of gif.  This works most of the time for me.

I am running:
Joomla 1.0.11
RSgallery2 1.12.2

Hope this is helpfull

if you are having problems with png transparancy, you can use the jce utils bot, there is a pngfix joomla extension, you can use this javascript method or some ways described on a list apart
