1. The layout of the gallery is terrible now;

The subgallerys are showing up like this:

Alpinisme:
Subgalleries: Zomer 2006: Dick van Schagen - Graubünden; Fiamma. Bügeleisen etc. (16) , Zomer 2005: Joeri Schouten - Beklimming Laliderspitze (2594mr) via de Herzogkant (Karwendel) (13) , Tete du Rouget - Girod peiler (14)

It was:

Alpinisme
Subgalleries:
Zomer 2006: Dick van Schagen - Graubünden; Fiamma. Bügeleisen etc. (16)
Zomer 2005: Joeri Schouten - Beklimming Laliderspitze (2594mr) via de Herzogkant (Karwendel) (13)
Tete du Rouget - Girod peiler (14)

2. I still mis the the discription of a gallery:
Home --> pictures -> gallery name (to go back to the thumbnail page of the gallery)

3. Another thing: the orginal picture is 800*600 and in the config I saved 700, buth now I get 700*933 (vertical photo) this is to large (in the 1.12.2 it was good!)

4. I don't see the results that I changed a user in the admin in the front on my site.

ps I change the nightly build for the 1.12.2 component, because this is not nice for my visitors

Christiaan,

FIrst of all, a more descriptive subject would be nice, please read posting guidelines.

On your remarks:
1. Well, you may find this terrible, other users diagree. On the bright side: we are in the proces of creating a template option for the galleryblock, so you can change the layout of that block to your likings.
2. The pathway is still not working. This is a known issue and we are working on resolving that.
3. Due to the new templating option, the resizing part needs to be rewritten.
4. This should work. I will look into this.

A general remark. There is a reason that the component is still in alpha stage. We do not recommend using this on a live site. This goes double for Nightly Builds. These are direct reflections of changes made in the code. They are for testing purposes only. If you decide to use them in a production site, this is your own responsibility.

So I think you made a good choice sticking with the 1.12.2 release. If the templating system is stable, we'll bring out another release.
But keep checking the Nightly Builds in a testing environment, the feedback we get from Nightly Builds is higly appreciated and needed to reach stability.

Cheers,

1.   If you have a lot of sub galleries it's not nice displayed
2.   ok.
3.   ok.
4.   With the nightly builds version of 01/03 it works (showing owner)

I understand that this is an alpha component, I like this component better than other photo galleries. Wink

Another thing: with this latest nightly build (01/03) the mod with random/latest image is not working well. Foto's are not showing up, or the wrong photo is displayed.
