I have 7 main categories on my album. That makes the album look big and messy.. I need to remove the thumbnail in the main category, and instead just show the category name. Is this possible, and how? I do not have any CSS knowledge..

that would be a problem, because the thumbnails on the main gallery page, are created with the same class as the subgallery thumbnails

Then, is there a possibility to make the "frontpage" appear with more columns?

Alternatively, is there any other theme i can try?

yes you can set the main gallery page to have 2 columns, this is very easy with the new templating system, so install the latest nightly build (do test it before you are sure you can use it on a production site, or wait until 1.12.13 is released (a couple of days/ weeks))

there is a nice option to have 2 columns

I got it, and i used the "box" option. Looks good so far..

But can the same thing be done for sub galleries? If so, how?

If now, wil this kind of feature be possible in the near future?

Great! Thanks!

"...the thumbnails on the main gallery page, are created with the same class as the subgallery thumbnails"

Maybe you should have created 2  seperate classes for the thumbnails?! (one for the main and another for subgallery)
