I upgraded to [SVN-676] and the (gallery, latest or random) thumbnails are not linked to the correct images.

Just BUMPing this post since it has not been addressed up to SVN24.

You may try this on this site: http://glimoso.com/index.php?option=com_rsgallery2&Itemid=29
Once in a while, the bigger pic being displayed is correct so you may need to try clicking Random and Latest thumbnails several times to see it happen. Sometimes, the problem occurs only with a particular thumbnail, for example, in the link given above, there are three thumbnails in the Latest category and only the middle one seems to have this problem.

Thanks.

WWW

the problem should have been solved

is this happening with pictures you added using an earlier version, for instance 1.12.2? because if it is, just upgrading won't do the trick, you will need to upload the images again for the problem to disappear

Thanks for the reply. I think it is, because I deleted the images and loaded them again and everything seems ok now. But then again, I have another site with more than a thousand images classified into more than 20 galleries having the same problem. Any suggestions on how I can speed up the delete-upload-again process?

no, not at the moment, I'll talk to the other devs about it, but perhaps this is just one of the risks of using an alpha component

Ok, we should be able to reindex them somehow.  Have you tried saving the order of the images by clicking the save icon above the ordering in the Image Manager?  Also, what is your site?

Yes, I tried it to all of the pictures and here's what happened: 1) All thumbnails which are properly linked now display fine; 2) those which don't display correctly are no longer displaying any big image at all. The display actually behaves in a weird manner as the picture appears like it would display but end up as a vertical line only.

You can see this in action here: http://www.the-eastbridge-school.net/index.php?option=com_rsgallery2&page=inline&id=71&catid=5&limitstart=390&Itemid=41
If you want to try further, just click on any picture on the Popular row. Latest row images are fine. Random row are a mix of old and new images so it's a hit-or-miss.
