In FireFox, the image caption partially covers the picture.  http://huntinroundwis.com/index.php?option=com_rsgallery2&Itemid=41&catid=2.
Also, when viewing the entire gallery at http://huntinroundwis.com/index.php?option=com_rsgallery2&Itemid=41 the name of the picture and gallery lay on top of each other.

and

in IE7, the image caption partially covers the picture, the words "main gallery" are partially hidden at http://huntinroundwis.com/index.php?option=com_rsgallery2&Itemid=41&catid=2

Also, when viewing the entire gallery at http://huntinroundwis.com/index.php?option=com_rsgallery2&Itemid=41 the name of the picture and gallery lay on top of each other and partially missing.

If this can be adjusted via CSS, what items do I need to modify.

I am having similar problems and after looking at your site, then I would say it is most likely a template conflict. Are you using Colormatic Template from RocketTheme as I am? (only different color theme)
Here a link to my site gallery: http://www.funtime.nahroojah.net/index.php?option=com_rsgallery2&Itemid=143
I did have this problem on another dite but edited one of the css files to get it working. That was 3 months ago and I cannot remember wich file it was. Cry

Unfortunately, I have tried modifiying the template css files and it has not changed the poor visibility with Internet Explorer.

I would really appreciate someone to take a closer look at this problem.
