Hello,
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to add text to the main gallery page, bellow the table that contains the galleries?

What I would really like was to be able add content like a static page from the static contents section to the bottom of the main gallery page.

Thank you in advance.

I solved this on my own.

I'm still relatively new to joomla, but I made out a way to add text bellow the main gallery display. I added a tag on the HTML of the template that loaded a module bellow the main body tag, and then I created a module that only shows on the main gallery page and inserted the text on the WYSIWYG editor that is available when you create a module in joomla admin Smiley

I hope this can be usefull to anyone Smiley

Cheers

WWW

I only saw this post now, but why don't you just use the Intro Text field in the Backend?
When you go to RSGallery2->Configuration in the first tab you can enter text that appears above the main gallery.

I didn't use that option because I want to write text with different colors and some parts in bold and underlined, for example.

That option I explained on my previous post is good, but I found out it's not as good as I wanted, because now the text that I wanted to show up only on the main page is showing up on all RSGallery 2 generated pages Sad

Is there a way to have my custom text (with the possibility of changing the font family, color, weight, etc...) just on the main gallery page?

Yep,

it is on out todo list to make the intro text formattable by using the same editor as in the comments section.
Be patient.

I went ahead and placed the editor in on the config page for the intro_text although I did not use the editor for the comments I used the backend editor used for content, etc... hope this was ok.

Thanks for your replies.

I'll wait for the release of a new version with that feature then. Can I just make one suggestion (don't know if it is possible)? Can you make a way to let the user define whether the intro text displays on top of the gallery table or bellow the gallery table?

Look forward for a new release Smiley
