If you have just download the latest nightly build, give a try to the template "Micro Macro - First Attempt"
, it is really cool!

And yes, before you try:
- The user upload part is not yet function (it gives me a blank page)
- The pagnation part is not yet function (it will list out all the galleries)
- The lightbox effect does not function on IE 7 (it will give ordinary pop-up)
I am sure the development team is working on them, so I'll be patient and hope it worth me waiting.

I think it will be very nice when the template finished. Great job!

thanks Mike.  Smiley

pagination and better lightbox support will be coming (hopefully) sometime soon.

the ideal for support of other features is to develop them in Micro Macro philosophy, which would be really cool, but take a lot of time.  So you won't see that soon.  what might happen is it could be merged with Tables to make a third template, Micro Macro with Tables, so Tables would provide the other features.  Alternatively you could use Tables by default but view certain galleries with the Micro Macro by either assigning that template to those galleries (not a feature yet) or crafting links to a certain gallery and appending &rsgTemplate=microMacro which allows you to override default and assigned templates.

Hello!

First of all, I would like to thank Jonah for the beautiful Micro-Macro and Super-Clean templates.

--

I would like to help to make a better template out of it. I have a few ideas in my mind, and I have time - so now, all I need is a little help with the lightbox, display.class and index.php of those templates - any documentation, tips, or something like that.

One of the ideas that I had in my mind is something like letting the lightbox have more than just the picture - but the picture and 2-3 links/strings which connects to the "table template" which allows users to vote, etc.

One more important thing: make to lightbox load the reduced-size image and not the original (because most originals are too heavy while adding a link to the full-size image, that will work exactly as before: a plain link.

And I have more ideas.

Jonah, if you know what to do, but need hands (and time) to do it for you, just say so...

Thanks, again.

You are definitely encouraged to take on development of any templates.  You will want to copy microMacro to a new template folder to keep it distinct.  Feel free to ask questions about how to do stuff or other RSG2 API questions in the Developer Lobby forum.
