I've observed that tha gallerycomponent is in front of the dropdown menu on my site - which results in being unable to press on the dropdown menu when the gallerycomponent is shown. A layer problem ??

mmm, is it all the time or just when viewing a slideshow?  i've noticed most drop down menus will hide behind flash and other js stuff.
