ordering on date

Greate component RS Gallery.

But how can i arrange that new phots wille be place on top of a category-album.
I mean i want to order on date?

Is this possible? Huh

I can't believe that such great component don't have the possibility to order on date.
I can't find it. I have more than 5 sites where i use RS gallery. But the problem is that uploaded pictures are not the first picture in an album.

Thats something what everyone wants, i think. Please tell me how i can make RS gallery to order on date.
I dont want to use an other gallery component but if this isn't possible, i have to. Sad

i have looked a bit at your problem but have not found any tested solutiuon.

Try this:

add the following to your templates gallery.php

Hello ..

version 1.13.1 has no support for ordering the images.
version 1.14.1 is prepared to order images but the configuration option is missing (will be added soon).

I tried just svn431, and the latest nightly, but both broke the gallery for me. Just get a blank page on the front end.

Any idea when this fix would be in an alpha release? Not being able to see the latest pictures first is the single issue that makes this gallery utterly unusable by myself. I love the component otherwise. I have been waiting on this fix for just over a year.
