Big Images on front page in Mambo 4.5.3h

Hi, I recently upgraded to the latest alpha 1.10.11. My main gallery page within my mambo installation displays the categorie images in the full size rather then a thumbnail like the demo. I have attached the screen print but if you would like you can see the site at www.yummypaintchips.com

we don\'t support mambo, but this doesn\'t sounds like a mambo error... still you should upgrade to joomla. in the mean time:

upgrade to RSG2 1.10.12 (it will be out imminently).

turn debug on in the configuration

in the control panel click \"Config - View\"

paste the output here.

i also had the problem with the large imagesonce
> reason: there were no thumbnails for this images
so the gallery uses the original size instead

I am going to be out of town for a few days on business. Maybe if I get a chance I will look at m,igrating to joomla. Or I may just create the thumbs. I will let you know how it goes.

On another note can anyone point me to any How-to for migrating from Mambo to Joomla?

how was it again ...

i think i did it by installing joomla on the same server like mambo
also both systems in the same database
(it\'s possible because mambo uses the MOS_ and joomla the JOS_ )

after this you should be able to move pictures and other needed data to the joomla folders (install components before)

next are the entries in the database
you have to export the mambo-tables and bofore \"importing\" them into joomla you have to change \"mos_\" to \"jos_\"

that should be it...
maybe there is another way or script to do this

should work for mambo and joomla

here\'s what we have been doing:

unpack the joomla component on your server (don\'t install it), alter configuration.php to reflect the proper settings. among other things, change database prefix jos_ to mos_

run the joomla sql upgrade script on your database.

copy images and any 3rd party component directories.

done.
