Hi

I'm very new at using rsgallery but it seems like the gallery that I'll be using eventually. Seems to be evolving into exactly what I'm looking for.

Firstly I'm not sure if the nightly builds are for use with J 1.0.13, but that is what I'm using. I'm running php 4.4.4 and MySql 5.0.27. I've tried the nightly builds 447,449 and 454. I get the same errors with each of these.

When I install I get the following backend error : Warning: implode() [function.implode]: Bad arguments. in C:\Program Files\xampp\htdocs\et\administrator\components\com_rsgallery2\includes\config.class.php on line 203.

The following messages appear:
1) Menu Image RSGallery2 succesfully changed
2) Migrating from RSGallery2 1.14.0
3) The above error message
4) Success. Now using RSGallery2 1.14.0

This then leads to the following front end error:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in C:\Program Files\xampp\htdocs\et\components\com_rsgallery2\templates\meta\display.class.php on line 435

Any pointers will be much appreciated.

Etienne

OK,
We need to trap that error. Your gallery is functional though.
Go into the backend and select one or two EXIF tags to show.
Save the configuration. Now, your error should be gone.

Cheers,

Thanks for the quick reply. Did as you suggested but the error remains. I have noticed something else though, don't know if it is relevant. The front end error points to ..../templates/meta/... even though my default template is semantic. When I change the default template it is still pointing to meta, no matter which template I select.

A few minutes later ....

I copied the function X_showEXIF from the semantic/display.class.php over the existing one in the meta template directory. For some reason this then got rid of the initial front end error. Let's see if I can clarify the complete setup. I have a menu item which points to the gallery component. There I have a main gallery with several sub galleries. The original front end error occurred when I clicked the menu item. The copy and paste got rid of that. I can now see the main gallery with the sub galleries. Also if I click the thumbnail in the main gallery it lists all the sub galleries with their thumbnails. Thus all well up to there. However when I click on any of the sub galleries the following two error messages appear, they persist whether I have view exif data enabled or not:

Warning: Wrong parameter count for array_slice() in C:\Program Files\xampp\htdocs\et\administrator\components\com_rsgallery2\includes\gallery.class.php on line 209

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in C:\Program Files\xampp\htdocs\et\components\com_rsgallery2\templates\semantic\html\thumbs_table.php on line 10

Did expect a quick change like that to produce errors so I'm not surprised at causing them.

Regards

I install rsgallery (svn454)

In the instalation i have this error:

Men? de imagen RSGallery2 cambiado con ?xito
   Migrando de RSGallery2 1.14.0

Warning: implode() [function.implode]: Bad arguments. in /home/didac3/public_html/ballestaperu/administrator/components/com_rsgallery2/includes/config.class.php on line 203
?xito. Ahora se utilizar? RSGallery2 1.14.0

and when i want view the pics i have this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /home/didac3/public_html/ballestaperu/components/com_rsgallery2/templates/meta/display.class.php on line 435

I am using the semantic template.
What can i do, its a bug or an error in the instalation?
